Knowledge of floristic diversity is essential for understanding ecosystem and its functioning. The
present paper deals with the floral diversity of the Panchmahal district of Gujarat in western India. Total 473 plant
species were recorded comprises of grasses (14%), herbs (42%), shrubs (6%), trees (28%) and climbers (10%). |
